Mediks Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) – School of Nursing offers a comprehensive portfolio of programs designed to prepare skilled, ethical, and job-ready healthcare professionals. Our academic offerings include the 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, along with a range of two-year diploma programs, such as: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Community Midwife (CMW), Lady Health Visitor (LHV) These diploma programs are developed on a competency-based curriculum, ideal for individuals seeking to enter the healthcare sector or enhance their professional capabilities in a short period of time.
In addition to core nursing and midwifery programs, MIHS also offers short-term diploma courses and specialized training in allied health sciences, conducted in collaboration with affiliated hospitals to ensure practical, hands-on clinical experience. These programs are particularly suitable for students aiming to gain technical skills and certification in various healthcare support roles.
Furthermore, MIHS provides international-standard certification programs for doctors, nurses, psychologists, allied health professionals, and graduates, focused on upgrading professional competencies and keeping pace with global healthcare standards.

Principal Message
Health is the biggest blessing one can ever have. Whereas life of a handicapped individual is full of pain and miseries. Being a medical professional and clinical researcher, I have witnessed painful tales of people suffering with cerebrovascular, congenital, allergic, autoimmune and mental health disorders that snatched their independency and freedom of movement.
As specialist in Neurosciences and clinical researcher, I did have a strong urge to work for the betterment of our people who are completely deprived of basic health care facilities. I would like to rectify this obnoxious rumor by stating that “Prompt and adequate treatment followed by advanced rehabilitation results in speedily recovery so a patient suffering from any neurological or mental health complication can surely have a life as normal as it was prior to having any health disorder”.
